water projects

The 483 students only have access to drinking water via two faucets. Additionally  the school garden is also taking water from those faucets. One is found on the inner courtyard, the other on the outer courtyard. There is no drain, but dirty puddles. Hepatitis E, a hygiene disease, is a common problem.

What we want to continue: “At least one more cleaning station is necessary, the water points each need a concrete base and at least another 5000 l water tank for the benefit of rain water must be installed. Hygiene workshops must be organized and bacteria kept away.”
